The pultrusion process

Pultrusion is a continuous process to produce composite material profiles.

The most common adopted material is fiberglass, which is composed of a polymer-based matrix (resin) and a glass fiber reinforcement, which can be spun (roving) or fabrics (Mat and Woven roving).

Properly directed, the resin-impregnated glass fibers enter the heated mold that together with the action of the catalysts, leads to the polymerization of the resin and the final hardening of the profile.

The result is a solid, compact, versatile, insulating product, that is ready to be used in many ways.
